The streamlined Black Taupe New Balance 1906R features an upper that starts with a base of airy black mesh that reduces the weight of the sneaker and promotes maximum air flow. Black suede overlays course across the upper in asymmetrical patterns. A black TPU heel counter provides rear foot stability, while an N-Lock lacing system helps support the midfoot. The midsole in shades of vanilla is composed of ACTEVA LITE cushioning as well as ABZORB SBS cushioning in the heel. N-ergy in the midsole and outsole absorbs shock, while the outsole Stretchweb technology helps provide arch support.
